Snip: Coupon Wallet — Support

Deutsch

Welche Daten sammelt Snip? Keine.

English

Snip keeps your paper coupons and loyalty cards on your iPhone and shows them as barcodes at the till, even without internet.

Frequently asked questions

My code won't scan at the till. Open the code full screen (brightness goes up automatically) and hold the iPhone steady and flat in front of the scanner. If it still won't read, show the cashier the code number printed under the barcode. Please tell us which shop and which code type it was.

How do I back up my data? Settings → Your data → Export backup. The file holds coupons, cards and photos. Keep it somewhere safe, such as iCloud Drive. Use Import backup to restore it.

I have a new iPhone. Export a backup on the old iPhone and import it on the new one.

I deleted a coupon by accident. An Undo button appears for a few seconds right after deleting. After that, only a backup can restore it.

What data does Snip collect? None. Everything stays on your iPhone. An optional tip goes through Apple's App Store. See the privacy policy for details.

My coupon shows an "Encoded code" instead of a number. Some coupons, such as value vouchers, hold data that can't be shown as text. Snip then keeps them exactly as scanned, together with a picture of the barcode that is shown at the till. Hold the picture steady in front of the scanner.
